How To Uninstall exiv2 On Debian 9

To uninstall exiv2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just exiv2

EXIF/IPTC/XMP metadata manipulation toolDebian 9.0graphics0.25-3.1
sudo apt-get remove exiv2

This will remove just the exiv2 package itself.

Uninstall exiv2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove exiv2

This will remove the exiv2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for exiv2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge exiv2

Or similarly, like this exiv2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove exiv2
