How To Uninstall extundelete On Debian 9

To uninstall extundelete just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just extundelete

utility to recover deleted files from ext3/ext4 partitionDebian 9.0utils0.2.4-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove extundelete

This will remove just the extundelete package itself.

Uninstall extundelete and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove extundelete

This will remove the extundelete package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for extundelete then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge extundelete

Or similarly, like this extundelete

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove extundelete
