How To Uninstall ez-ipupdate On Debian 9

To uninstall ez-ipupdate just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ez-ipupdate

client for most dynamic DNS servicesDebian 9.0net3.0.11b8-13.4.1
sudo apt-get remove ez-ipupdate

This will remove just the ez-ipupdate package itself.

Uninstall ez-ipupdate and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ez-ipupdate

This will remove the ez-ipupdate package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ez-ipupdate then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ez-ipupdate

Or similarly, like this ez-ipupdate

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ez-ipupdate
