How To Uninstall f-irc On Debian 9

To uninstall f-irc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just f-irc

user-friendly IRC client for the console/terminalDebian 9.0comm1.36-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove f-irc

This will remove just the f-irc package itself.

Uninstall f-irc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove f-irc

This will remove the f-irc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for f-irc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge f-irc

Or similarly, like this f-irc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove f-irc
