How To Uninstall f2c On Debian 9

To uninstall f2c just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just f2c

FORTRAN 77 to C/C++ translatorDebian 9.0devel20100827-3
sudo apt-get remove f2c

This will remove just the f2c package itself.

Uninstall f2c and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove f2c

This will remove the f2c package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for f2c then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge f2c

Or similarly, like this f2c

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove f2c
