How To Uninstall fabric On Debian 9

To uninstall fabric just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fabric

Simple Pythonic remote deployment toolDebian 9.0net1.13.1-2
sudo apt-get remove fabric

This will remove just the fabric package itself.

Uninstall fabric and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fabric

This will remove the fabric package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fabric then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fabric

Or similarly, like this fabric

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fabric
