How To Uninstall fai-server On Debian 9

To uninstall fai-server just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fai-server

Fully Automatic Installation server packageDebian 9.0admin5.3.6
sudo apt-get remove fai-server

This will remove just the fai-server package itself.

Uninstall fai-server and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fai-server

This will remove the fai-server package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fai-server then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fai-server

Or similarly, like this fai-server

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fai-server
