How To Uninstall falcon On Debian 9

To uninstall falcon just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just falcon

diploid-aware genome assembly of single-molecule sequencing readsDebian 9.0science1.8.6-1.1
sudo apt-get remove falcon

This will remove just the falcon package itself.

Uninstall falcon and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove falcon

This will remove the falcon package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for falcon then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge falcon

Or similarly, like this falcon

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove falcon
