How To Uninstall fasm On Debian 9

To uninstall fasm just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fasm

fast assembler for the x86 and x86-64 architecturesDebian 9.0devel1.71.59-1
sudo apt-get remove fasm

This will remove just the fasm package itself.

Uninstall fasm and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fasm

This will remove the fasm package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fasm then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fasm

Or similarly, like this fasm

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fasm
