How To Uninstall fatrace On Debian 9

To uninstall fatrace just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fatrace

report system wide file access eventsDebian 9.0utils0.12-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove fatrace

This will remove just the fatrace package itself.

Uninstall fatrace and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fatrace

This will remove the fatrace package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fatrace then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fatrace

Or similarly, like this fatrace

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fatrace
