How To Uninstall fatsort On Debian 9

To uninstall fatsort just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fatsort

utility for sorting FAT directory structuresDebian 9.0otherosfs1.3.365-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove fatsort

This will remove just the fatsort package itself.

Uninstall fatsort and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fatsort

This will remove the fatsort package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fatsort then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fatsort

Or similarly, like this fatsort

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fatsort
