How To Uninstall faust On Debian 9

To uninstall faust just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just faust

sudo apt-get remove faust

This will remove just the faust package itself.

Uninstall faust and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove faust

This will remove the faust package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for faust then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge faust

Or similarly, like this faust

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove faust
