How To Uninstall faustworks On Debian 9

To uninstall faustworks just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just faustworks

IDE for Faust dsp programming languageDebian 9.0sound0.5~repack0-3
sudo apt-get remove faustworks

This will remove just the faustworks package itself.

Uninstall faustworks and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove faustworks

This will remove the faustworks package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for faustworks then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge faustworks

Or similarly, like this faustworks

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove faustworks
