How To Uninstall fbreader On Debian 9

To uninstall fbreader just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fbreader

e-book readerDebian 9.0text0.12.10dfsg2-2+b1
sudo apt-get remove fbreader

This will remove just the fbreader package itself.

Uninstall fbreader and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fbreader

This will remove the fbreader package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fbreader then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fbreader

Or similarly, like this fbreader

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fbreader
