How To Uninstall fcc On Debian 9

To uninstall fcc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fcc

Script to compile C/C++ programs and link to Fortran librariesDebian 9.0science2.8-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove fcc

This will remove just the fcc package itself.

Uninstall fcc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fcc

This will remove the fcc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fcc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fcc

Or similarly, like this fcc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fcc
