How To Uninstall fcheck On Debian 9

To uninstall fcheck just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fcheck

IDS filesystem baseline integrity checkerDebian 9.0admin2.7.59-19
sudo apt-get remove fcheck

This will remove just the fcheck package itself.

Uninstall fcheck and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fcheck

This will remove the fcheck package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fcheck then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fcheck

Or similarly, like this fcheck

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fcheck
