How To Uninstall fcitx-chewing On Debian 9

To uninstall fcitx-chewing just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fcitx-chewing

Fcitx wrapper for Chewing libraryDebian 9.0utils0.2.2-1
sudo apt-get remove fcitx-chewing

This will remove just the fcitx-chewing package itself.

Uninstall fcitx-chewing and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fcitx-chewing

This will remove the fcitx-chewing package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fcitx-chewing then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fcitx-chewing

Or similarly, like this fcitx-chewing

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fcitx-chewing
