How To Uninstall fcitx-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall fcitx-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fcitx-dbg

Flexible Input Method Framework - debugging symbolsDebian 9.0debug1:4.2.9.1-6
sudo apt-get remove fcitx-dbg

This will remove just the fcitx-dbg package itself.

Uninstall fcitx-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fcitx-dbg

This will remove the fcitx-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fcitx-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fcitx-dbg

Or similarly, like this fcitx-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fcitx-dbg
