How To Uninstall fcitx-libpinyin On Debian 9

To uninstall fcitx-libpinyin just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fcitx-libpinyin

Fcitx wrapper for libpinyinDebian 9.0utils0.3.3-2
sudo apt-get remove fcitx-libpinyin

This will remove just the fcitx-libpinyin package itself.

Uninstall fcitx-libpinyin and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fcitx-libpinyin

This will remove the fcitx-libpinyin package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fcitx-libpinyin then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fcitx-libpinyin

Or similarly, like this fcitx-libpinyin

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fcitx-libpinyin
