How To Uninstall fcitx-module-lua On Debian 9

To uninstall fcitx-module-lua just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fcitx-module-lua

Flexible Input Method Framework - Lua moduleDebian 9.0utils1:4.2.9.1-6
sudo apt-get remove fcitx-module-lua

This will remove just the fcitx-module-lua package itself.

Uninstall fcitx-module-lua and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fcitx-module-lua

This will remove the fcitx-module-lua package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fcitx-module-lua then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fcitx-module-lua

Or similarly, like this fcitx-module-lua

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fcitx-module-lua
