How To Uninstall fcitx-mozc On Debian 9

To uninstall fcitx-mozc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fcitx-mozc

Mozc engine for fcitx - Client of the Mozc input methodDebian 9.0utils2.19.2623.102+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove fcitx-mozc

This will remove just the fcitx-mozc package itself.

Uninstall fcitx-mozc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fcitx-mozc

This will remove the fcitx-mozc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fcitx-mozc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fcitx-mozc

Or similarly, like this fcitx-mozc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fcitx-mozc
