How To Uninstall fcitx-unikey On Debian 9

To uninstall fcitx-unikey just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fcitx-unikey

Fcitx wrapper for Unikey engineDebian 9.0utils0.2.4-1.1
sudo apt-get remove fcitx-unikey

This will remove just the fcitx-unikey package itself.

Uninstall fcitx-unikey and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fcitx-unikey

This will remove the fcitx-unikey package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fcitx-unikey then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fcitx-unikey

Or similarly, like this fcitx-unikey

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fcitx-unikey
