How To Uninstall fcode-utils On Debian 9

To uninstall fcode-utils just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fcode-utils

OpenBIOS FCode utilitiesDebian 9.0misc1.0.2-7+b1
sudo apt-get remove fcode-utils

This will remove just the fcode-utils package itself.

Uninstall fcode-utils and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fcode-utils

This will remove the fcode-utils package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fcode-utils then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fcode-utils

Or similarly, like this fcode-utils

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fcode-utils
