How To Uninstall fdm On Debian 9

To uninstall fdm just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fdm

fetching, filtering and delivering emailsDebian 9.0mail1.7+cvs20140912-1+b3
sudo apt-get remove fdm

This will remove just the fdm package itself.

Uninstall fdm and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fdm

This will remove the fdm package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fdm then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fdm

Or similarly, like this fdm

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fdm
