How To Uninstall ferm On Debian 9

To uninstall ferm just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ferm

maintain and setup complicated firewall rulesDebian 9.0net2.3-2
sudo apt-get remove ferm

This will remove just the ferm package itself.

Uninstall ferm and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ferm

This will remove the ferm package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ferm then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ferm

Or similarly, like this ferm

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ferm
