How To Uninstall festival-te On Debian 9

To uninstall festival-te just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just festival-te

sudo apt-get remove festival-te

This will remove just the festival-te package itself.

Uninstall festival-te and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove festival-te

This will remove the festival-te package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for festival-te then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge festival-te

Or similarly, like this festival-te

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove festival-te
