How To Uninstall ffmpeg2theora On Debian 9

To uninstall ffmpeg2theora just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ffmpeg2theora

Theora video encoder using ffmpegDebian 9.0video0.30-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove ffmpeg2theora

This will remove just the ffmpeg2theora package itself.

Uninstall ffmpeg2theora and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ffmpeg2theora

This will remove the ffmpeg2theora package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ffmpeg2theora then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ffmpeg2theora

Or similarly, like this ffmpeg2theora

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ffmpeg2theora
