How To Uninstall ffmpegthumbnailer-dbg On Debian 9

sudo apt-get remove ffmpegthumbnailer-dbg

This will remove just the ffmpegthumbnailer-dbg package itself.

Uninstall ffmpegthumbnailer-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ffmpegthumbnailer-dbg

This will remove the ffmpegthumbnailer-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ffmpegthumbnailer-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ffmpegthumbnailer-dbg

Or similarly, like this ffmpegthumbnailer-dbg
