How To Uninstall fil-plugins On Debian 9

To uninstall fil-plugins just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fil-plugins

parametric equalizer LADSPA pluginDebian 9.0sound0.3.0-6
sudo apt-get remove fil-plugins

This will remove just the fil-plugins package itself.

Uninstall fil-plugins and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fil-plugins

This will remove the fil-plugins package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fil-plugins then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fil-plugins

Or similarly, like this fil-plugins

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fil-plugins
