How To Uninstall file-roller On Debian 9

To uninstall file-roller just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just file-roller

archive manager for GNOMEDebian 9.0gnome3.22.3-1
sudo apt-get remove file-roller

This will remove just the file-roller package itself.

Uninstall file-roller and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove file-roller

This will remove the file-roller package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for file-roller then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge file-roller

Or similarly, like this file-roller

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove file-roller
