How To Uninstall filelight On Debian 9

To uninstall filelight just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just filelight

show where your diskspace is being usedDebian 9.0kde4:16.08.3-1
sudo apt-get remove filelight

This will remove just the filelight package itself.

Uninstall filelight and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove filelight

This will remove the filelight package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for filelight then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge filelight

Or similarly, like this filelight

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove filelight
