How To Uninstall filepp On Debian 9

To uninstall filepp just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just filepp

generic perl-based file pre-processor for text filesDebian 9.0text1.8.0-5
sudo apt-get remove filepp

This will remove just the filepp package itself.

Uninstall filepp and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove filepp

This will remove the filepp package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for filepp then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge filepp

Or similarly, like this filepp

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove filepp
