How To Uninstall filezilla-common On Debian 9

To uninstall filezilla-common just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just filezilla-common

Architecture independent files for filezillaDebian 9.0net3.24.0-1
sudo apt-get remove filezilla-common

This will remove just the filezilla-common package itself.

Uninstall filezilla-common and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove filezilla-common

This will remove the filezilla-common package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for filezilla-common then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge filezilla-common

Or similarly, like this filezilla-common

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove filezilla-common
