How To Uninstall filezilla On Debian 9

To uninstall filezilla just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just filezilla

Full-featured graphical FTP/FTPS/SFTP clientDebian 9.0net3.24.0-1
sudo apt-get remove filezilla

This will remove just the filezilla package itself.

Uninstall filezilla and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove filezilla

This will remove the filezilla package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for filezilla then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge filezilla

Or similarly, like this filezilla

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove filezilla
