How To Uninstall findbugs On Debian 9

To uninstall findbugs just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just findbugs

Static java code analyzer to find bugsDebian 9.0java3.1.0~preview2-1
sudo apt-get remove findbugs

This will remove just the findbugs package itself.

Uninstall findbugs and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove findbugs

This will remove the findbugs package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for findbugs then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge findbugs

Or similarly, like this findbugs

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove findbugs
