How To Uninstall firebird3.0-server On Debian 9

To uninstall firebird3.0-server just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just firebird3.0-server

Firebird Server - an RDBMS based on InterBase 6.0 codeDebian 9.0database3.0.1.32609.ds4-14
sudo apt-get remove firebird3.0-server

This will remove just the firebird3.0-server package itself.

Uninstall firebird3.0-server and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove firebird3.0-server

This will remove the firebird3.0-server package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for firebird3.0-server then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge firebird3.0-server

Or similarly, like this firebird3.0-server

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove firebird3.0-server
