How To Uninstall firejail On Debian 9

To uninstall firejail just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just firejail

sandbox to restrict the application environmentDebian 9.0utils0.9.44.8-2
sudo apt-get remove firejail

This will remove just the firejail package itself.

Uninstall firejail and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove firejail

This will remove the firejail package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for firejail then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge firejail

Or similarly, like this firejail

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove firejail
