How To Uninstall firetools On Debian 9

To uninstall firetools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just firetools

Qt frontend for the Firejail application sandboxDebian 9.0utils0.9.44-1
sudo apt-get remove firetools

This will remove just the firetools package itself.

Uninstall firetools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove firetools

This will remove the firetools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for firetools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge firetools

Or similarly, like this firetools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove firetools
