How To Uninstall firewall-config On Debian 9

To uninstall firewall-config just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just firewall-config

graphical configuration tool to change the firewall settingsDebian 9.0net0.4.4.2-1
sudo apt-get remove firewall-config

This will remove just the firewall-config package itself.

Uninstall firewall-config and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove firewall-config

This will remove the firewall-config package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for firewall-config then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge firewall-config

Or similarly, like this firewall-config

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove firewall-config
