How To Uninstall fis-gtm On Debian 9

To uninstall fis-gtm just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fis-gtm

metapackage for the latest version of FIS-GT.M databaseDebian 9.0database6.3-000A-1
sudo apt-get remove fis-gtm

This will remove just the fis-gtm package itself.

Uninstall fis-gtm and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fis-gtm

This will remove the fis-gtm package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fis-gtm then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fis-gtm

Or similarly, like this fis-gtm

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fis-gtm
