How To Uninstall fish-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall fish-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fish-dbg

friendly interactive shell (debugging symbols)Debian 9.0debug2.4.0-1
sudo apt-get remove fish-dbg

This will remove just the fish-dbg package itself.

Uninstall fish-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fish-dbg

This will remove the fish-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fish-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fish-dbg

Or similarly, like this fish-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fish-dbg
