How To Uninstall fiu-utils On Debian 9

To uninstall fiu-utils just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fiu-utils

userspace fault injection framework (utilities)Debian 9.0devel0.95-3
sudo apt-get remove fiu-utils

This will remove just the fiu-utils package itself.

Uninstall fiu-utils and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fiu-utils

This will remove the fiu-utils package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fiu-utils then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fiu-utils

Or similarly, like this fiu-utils

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fiu-utils
