How To Uninstall flashcache-dkms On Debian 9

To uninstall flashcache-dkms just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just flashcache-dkms

write-back block device cache for Linux (DKMS version)Debian 9.0kernel3.1.3+git20150701-5
sudo apt-get remove flashcache-dkms

This will remove just the flashcache-dkms package itself.

Uninstall flashcache-dkms and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove flashcache-dkms

This will remove the flashcache-dkms package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for flashcache-dkms then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge flashcache-dkms

Or similarly, like this flashcache-dkms

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove flashcache-dkms
