How To Uninstall flashrom On Debian 9

To uninstall flashrom just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just flashrom

Identify, read, write, erase, and verify BIOS/ROM/flash chipsDebian 9.0electronics0.9.9+r1954-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove flashrom

This will remove just the flashrom package itself.

Uninstall flashrom and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove flashrom

This will remove the flashrom package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for flashrom then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge flashrom

Or similarly, like this flashrom

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove flashrom
