How To Uninstall flightgear-data-models On Debian 9

To uninstall flightgear-data-models just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just flightgear-data-models

FlightGear Flight Simulator -- standard modelsDebian 9.0games1:2016.4.2+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove flightgear-data-models

This will remove just the flightgear-data-models package itself.

Uninstall flightgear-data-models and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove flightgear-data-models

This will remove the flightgear-data-models package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for flightgear-data-models then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge flightgear-data-models

Or similarly, like this flightgear-data-models

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove flightgear-data-models
