How To Uninstall floppyd On Debian 9

To uninstall floppyd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just floppyd

Daemon for remote access to floppy drivesDebian 9.0otherosfs4.0.18-2+b1
sudo apt-get remove floppyd

This will remove just the floppyd package itself.

Uninstall floppyd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove floppyd

This will remove the floppyd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for floppyd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge floppyd

Or similarly, like this floppyd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove floppyd
