How To Uninstall flow-tools On Debian 9

To uninstall flow-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just flow-tools

collects and processes NetFlow dataDebian 9.0net1:0.68-12.5
sudo apt-get remove flow-tools

This will remove just the flow-tools package itself.

Uninstall flow-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove flow-tools

This will remove the flow-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for flow-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge flow-tools

Or similarly, like this flow-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove flow-tools
