How To Uninstall fluid-soundfont-gm On Debian 9

To uninstall fluid-soundfont-gm just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fluid-soundfont-gm

Fluid (R3) General MIDI SoundFont (GM)Debian 9.0sound3.1-5.1
sudo apt-get remove fluid-soundfont-gm

This will remove just the fluid-soundfont-gm package itself.

Uninstall fluid-soundfont-gm and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fluid-soundfont-gm

This will remove the fluid-soundfont-gm package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fluid-soundfont-gm then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fluid-soundfont-gm

Or similarly, like this fluid-soundfont-gm

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fluid-soundfont-gm
