How To Uninstall fmit On Debian 9

To uninstall fmit just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fmit

Free Music Instrument TunerDebian 9.0sound1.0.0-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove fmit

This will remove just the fmit package itself.

Uninstall fmit and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fmit

This will remove the fmit package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fmit then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fmit

Or similarly, like this fmit

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fmit
