How To Uninstall fmtools On Debian 9

To uninstall fmtools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just fmtools

FM radio tunerDebian 9.0sound2.0.7+b1
sudo apt-get remove fmtools

This will remove just the fmtools package itself.

Uninstall fmtools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fmtools

This will remove the fmtools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for fmtools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge fmtools

Or similarly, like this fmtools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fmtools
